Hello, my name is Jacqueline and I live in Norfolk, UK with my partner Scott, dog Tala, and my ferrets and chickens. I offer private commissions for pet portraits, drawn from your photos. I also create original wildlife art in between pet portrait commissions which I sell through local exhibitions, craft fairs and via my Facebook page.
I work in pastels in a realistic, traditional style. I find that pastels are lovely to work with to create fur and various textures on animals, and they really capture their spirit and character. They are one of the oldest and most reliable media to use, and if properly taken care of will last a lifetime without fading. I have always been an animal lover and had a lifelong passion for drawing and art, so I decided in 2016 after being awarded a Diploma with Distiction in Pet Portraits that it was only natural that I combine these two things, so I took the plunge and set up this business right then, offering commissions for pet portraits and wildlife art.
I am member of the SAA (Society for All Artists), the Association of Animal Artists and the WNAA (West Norfolk Artists Association), and have taken part in some great exhibitions and craft shows in the last few years, selling various pieces of original works of wildlife, pets and farm animals.

If you are interested in commissioning me to create a pet portrait, please do get in touch! All I need to start with is a good, clear photo of the pet to get started. Ideal photos are ones taken in daylight and are showing your pet’s eyes.
